The Pikes Peak Regional Airshow is back in 2024, headlined by the country’s most famous aerial performers.
Event organizers announced in a news release Tuesday that the Navy’s Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron, a flight showcase team known for tight formation flying in fighter jets, would be visiting the airshow set for Aug. 17-18.
The last time the Blue Angels visited Colorado was earlier in October at the Grand Junction Air Show. That appearance marked the first time the team has been to Colorado in two years.
More flights and a full roster of aircraft will be announced closer to the event, the release said.
