Elizabeth Sneed ( curvysurfergirl ) moved to Honolulu, Hawaii to fulfill her dream of learning how to surf. As a plus-sized woman, Elizabeth noticed that women of her size were rarely depicted in the sport, and struggled with finding the necessary confidence to get on the board every day.
