The 21-year-old singer known as

#CelesteRivasHernandez, returned to a Los Angeles courtroom Monday, Aug. 31, for his arraignment, where he told a judge he wants to be represented by public defenders.
After attorneys met with L.A. County Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo in chambers, defense attorney Blair Berk — who has represented a number of high-profile clients including Harvey Weinstein and L.A. labor union leader David Huerta — told the court that her client, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, wished to have a public defender, Walid Kandeel, represent him instead.
