The Hyrox Burpee Broad Jumps are easy.
Yeah, I said it.
The problem is most athletes make them WAY harder than they need to be.
They treat every rep like a fitness test.
They jump too high.
They stand up too tall.
They crash into the ground.
They leave their feet behind their hands.
Then 40 meters in, they wonder why their heart rate is through the roof.
Burpee Broad Jumps are a skill.
The goal isn’t to attack every rep.
The goal is to create a repeatable movement that gets you through 80 meters while wasting as little energy as possible.
Stay low.
Bring your feet forward.
Get your foot to your fingertips.
Use your arm swing.
Land soft.
Fall directly into the next rep.
Once you clean up the mechanics, something happens:
The station starts to feel easier.
Not because you suddenly got fitter.
Because you stopped wasting energy.
That’s the entire idea behind my BurpEASE Method.
Comment “Burpee” and get the course!
Make the movement easier first.
Then make it faste...
