Notting Hill Carnival has celebrated its 60th anniversary with three days of revelry fuelled by drummers, dancers and colourful costumes. Europe's biggest street party continued on Monday with the adults' parade, live bands and more than 30 static sound systems. The carnival, which celebrates Caribbean culture and history, was first held in west London in 1966. Across the bank holiday weekend, more than two million people were expected to join in the celebrations, featuring thousands of parade performers in sequins, feathers and bejewelled headpieces.
