Images showing the devastation caused by a fire that claimed the lives of 14 newborns at a maternity unit in an Islamabad hospital have been released by emergency officials in Pakistan. Of the 15 babies who were in the ward at the time, one newborn has been rescued, a hospital spokesperson tells the BBC. The fire broke out in an air-conditioning unit in PIMS hospital, and was quickly ignited by oxygen connections, a spokesperson told BBC Urdu.
