A woman who attacked people with a knife in Times Square was shot by police, according to law enforcement.⁠ ⁠ The woman, who police described as emotionally disturbed, had a knife in the tourist-heavy area Monday afternoon and used it to stab multiple people in the area of West 43rd Street and Seventh Avenue, police said.⁠ ⁠ Police sources told NBC New York at least two victims had been stabbed, though their conditions were not immediately clear.
