This is a learning lesson that a veteran quarterback should not have to go through, Ashton Daniels should know better in this situation. However, I do recognize that the signal-caller was just trying to make a play for his squad. He has to understand that he has to live another down and throw the football away on a 2nd down and 8 with being a few yards away from field goal range in a close contest.
