Today, Yankees OF prospect Wilberson De Peña was named FCL Player of the Month for July by MiLB. In the press release, it notes that he batted .377/.424/.705 and led the league in average (.377), hits (23), doubles (6), RBI (17), total bases (43) and slugging percentage (.705). He was second in the league in OPS (1.129) and home runs (4) and was fifth in on-base percentage (.424). He recorded eight multi-hit games and ended the month on a nine-game hitting streak.
