Every Monday evening, volunteer handler Kim Boedicker and Canine Companions #therapydog Dallas are on the job bringing comfort, calm and connection to families staying at the ronaldmcdonaldhouse of Central Ohio while their children receive care at the hospital. 🩵🏥 For families who sometimes stay weeks or months at a time, they eagerly wait for Dallas’ arrival after long days at the hospital. Whether it’s a quiet cuddle, a comforting presence or simply a moment to breathe, Dallas seems to know exactly what each person needs. 🫶 Her gentle nature has brought smiles through tears, peace during uncertainty, and even inspired one exhausted mom to curl up on the floor beside her for a much-needed moment of rest and respite.❤️ Kim never knows who they’ll meet each week, but one thing is certain: something truly special happens at the end of Dallas’s leash every Monday.
