Hagyard would like to congratulate three of our Veterinary Assistants in the Medicine Department: Emma Kays, Grace Asher, and Kylie Schiek, on becoming certified hyperbaric technicians in the veterinary field! The requirements for this certification include an online course, 40 hours of hands-on hyperbaric training, and boards testing. These assistants are now part of an esteemed group of just 84 Certified Hyperbaric Veterinary Technologists in the world, and Hagyard is home to eight of them, including: Dr. Nathan Slovis, DVM, DACVIM, CHT, CHT-V and Hagyard’s Director of Hyperbaric Medicine Lynne Hewlett, AS, CHT, CHT-V and Hagyard’s Hyperbaric Safety Director Julie Cunningham, B.S., CHT-V Amanda Cox, CHT-V Grace Asher, AS, CHT-V Emma Kays, CHT-V Abby Lambert, B.S., CHT-V Kylie Schiek, B.S., CHT-V We applaud their continuous pursuit of knowledge and professional development. #teamhagyard #hagyardequine
