💔 The voice behind Optimus Prime for more than four decades has gone silent, as legendary voice actor Peter Cullen has died at age 85. Cullen passed away peacefully at his Los Angeles home on August 26, surrounded by his family. He first gave Optimus Prime his unmistakable voice in the original 1984 Transformers animated series, establishing the sound and personality that generations of fans would associate with the Autobot leader. Cullen later returned for the live-action Transformers era beginning with Michael Bay’s 2007 film and continued voicing Prime through multiple movies, including 2023’s Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
