🖐🏻 Months!! The twins are now 5 months old today and I’m at a loss of words for how we went from seeing two tiny beans on a sonogram to today. Benny and Dash are my whack-a-mole twins. They complement each other in every way. Their personalities couldn’t be more different, but also still the same…? It’s hard to put into words this new world I’m still getting acclimated to. It’s been humbling to say the least. Two different cries. Two different people. Two different needs at two different times. Both exclusively breastfed. Both fed on demand with a sleep and wake routine to match (or not match). I have found this last month to be trying and full of moments that end in “two things can both be true at once.” I often am asked — or told — “I don’t know how you do it” or “you’re a super woman.” The truth is I am taking it all day by day.
