What started as a welfare check led to an arrest after deputies discovered multiple outstanding warrants. A search of his vehicle uncovered 100+ pieces of stolen mail, credit cards, checks, USPS mail keys, victims’ personal identifying information, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. And remember the Special Assignment Team (SAT) arrest involving a woman found with shaved keys believed to be burglary tools? 🔑 Those two arrests were connected. Our Burglary Team followed the evidence and uncovered a much larger mail theft and identity theft investigation involving multiple victims throughout the Santa Clarita Valley and Los Angeles County.
