Kevin Durant reflected on Russell Westbrook’s retirement and admitted the news hit differently because of how closely their careers were tied from the beginning. “It just hit me, man, cuz it’s just like that’s one of the first dudes you come in with and you was around every day to finally step out of this... I wasn’t as close to them [other retired peers] as I was to Russell... And then as somebody I felt like can still play...
