How To Do Bulgarian Squats | Correct Technique
Key technique points:
• You need a bench, a box, or something similar for this one
• Start right in front of the box and take a quite big step to the front, with a hip width stance
• Put one foot up on the box and still keep that hip width distance
• Go down into a one leg squat, 90 degrees minimum, with the back as straight as possible and the core engaged, knees in line with the toes, then push back up
Bulgarian Squats are a single leg squat variation performed with the rear foot elevated, training the quads, glutes, and hamstrings through a deep range of motion.
