Which pull-up form is correct?😌 Both. They’re just done differently. One uses a closer grip. The other uses a wider grip. In these two examples, neither is wrong. Some people simply feel stronger and more comfortable with one than the other. It can depend on your arm length, anatomy, training background, and what your body is used to. A wider grip does shorten the range of motion. That’s one reason you’ll often see high-level athletes use a wider grip when they’re trying to get a lot of reps. But for normal training? Both work. Both are correct. Your pull-up doesn’t need to look exactly like someone else’s to be a good pull-up. What do you think?
