Chinese President Xi Jinping attended a welcome ceremony held by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov in Bishkek on Monday morning.⁣ ⁣ Escorted by a cavalry guard, Xi's limousine arrived at the Yntymak Ordo, the presidential administration building, where he and his wife Peng Liyuan were warmly greeted by Japarov and his wife Aigul Japarova.⁣ ⁣ Xi arrived in Bishkek on Sunday afternoon to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit 2026 and pay a state visit to Kyrgyzstan at the invitation of Japarov.
