All parties should address their respective economic and trade concerns through dialog and consultation on an equal footing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Li Jian said at a press briefing in Beijing on Wednesday.
Lin made the remarks in response to a media query about Canada's announcement that it would impose retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods worth 27.6 billion Canadian dollars.
"China has consistently maintained that all parties should address their respective economic and trade concerns through dialog and consultation on an equal footing," Lin said.
