Fresno City Attorney Andrew Janz plans to hold a news conference to discuss stronger prosecutor safety measures. The meeting will be held outside the courthouse on M Street on Monday, August 24th, at around 9 a.m. Janz wants to address an escalating pattern of retaliatory threats against public legal officers. This comes months after a person trespassed on his private property. It is also connected to the daytime stabbing of a Senior Deputy District Attorney in Courthouse Park.
