Did you know… ➡️ More than 50% of our team walks on every year with no rowing experience prior to college ➡️ In our 2008 National Championship winning boat, five out of the eight rowers learned to row here at Wisconsin and had never rowed before college ➡️ We host open tryouts every fall for first year students with no rowing experience: This year they are Monday 8/31, Tuesday 9/1, and Wednesday 9/2 (all 4-5 pm at Porter Boathouse) ➡️ Great opportunity to join a team, keep working out and competing, make great friends, and challenge yourself ➡️ You may be the next great Badger oarsman and not even know it. 🔑 You’ll never know unless you try.
