The level of talent among local private schools remains high, so there was again plenty of competition for Super 11 recognition. For nearly three decades, the unveiling of the lohud Super 11 teams have signaled the start of a new high school football season. Those who make the final cut are proven game-changers from schools in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam. A majority of these headliners come from winning programs and play a sport in college. Two years ago, we expanded, creating unique Super 11 teams for public and private schools.
