Welcome to the "Death Star" — one of the most intense proximity flying lines in the world, carved into the sheer limestone face of Sassongher in Italy's Dolomites. Shot entirely on GoPro MAX by BASE jumper Mike Naddor, this footage puts you directly inside his POV as he exits, accelerates to 150mph, and threads a narrow, steep channel of rock with no margin for error. "Death Star" is the nickname for the highly technical wingsuit proximity line on Sassongher, a peak overlooking Val Badia in the Italian Dolomites. Sassongher rises to roughly 8,700ft (2,665 meters), but its reputation has nothing to do with altitude. It's the geometry of the north face that makes it legendary. The line funnels pilots into a narrow, concave rock channel where speed builds almost instantly and the walls close in on both sides.
