Professional discus thrower Elena Bruckner (@laniebruck ) kept noticing something missing: girls in throwing events across Shasta County. So, she created “Throw Like a Girl,” a free clinic at Simpson University introducing young athletes to discus, shot put, and the confidence that comes with discovering their strength.
