Bill Belton’s 1st game as St. Augustine Prep’s head coach was nuts. His team had 2 TDs called back on penalties, muffed 3 kicks and fumbled a snap in the 2nd quarter alone. And that’s all before Bill tore his left Achilles celebrating a 4th quarter TD that turned out to be the game-winner. Bill spent the last few minutes of the game on the sidelines on crutches, but it was his 1st win as head coach of the Hermits.
