Absolutely brutal two days out there. 😅 Honestly some of the best golf I’ve played in the last year or two — 4 weeks post-surgery and it’s all clicking again. That feeling is priceless. Then, this course reminded me who’s the boss. My ball rolled straight back into my own divot in the bunker, after a bad rake job from one of the groups ahead. Maybe their caddy was daydreaming, or just too tired after fighting this course all day, who knows 😂. I thought that I had a real shot at birdie in the air… walked off with a triple. Two holes that nearly broke me. But, I’ll take the mental strength today over almost anything, answered that double and triple with birdies right after. That’s the stuff that matters. Made the cut in the end, and proud of how I fought for it. This place is stunning, but seriously dangerous if you’re even a little offline — respect to whoever tames it this week.
