A lasting tribute to an unforgettable legacy. Creighton Professor of Sculpture Littleton Alston, MFA, created a bronze statue honoring the late Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt, BVM, unveiled at loyolachicago on what would have been her 107th birthday. “I hope my sculpture creates something of Sister Jean’s spirit, and that I evoke memories of her for the people who know her and love her, and for the many future students and admirers that will come to this very campus to see her,” Alston said. Through his work, Alston ensures Sister Jean’s spirit and story will continue to inspire generations to come. Read more at the link in our bio. 💙 #Creighton #SisterJean #LoyolaChicago #AJCU
