Congratulations to our San Diego County CASA of the Month, Janet! 🥳 Before entering foster care, 11-year-old Makenna* was carrying adult responsibilities, acting as the primary caregiver for her toddler brother. Forced to grow up, she rarely had the chance to experience the carefree joy of just being a child. That changed when she met her Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), Janet. When an opportunity arose for Makenna to attend an equestrian sleepaway camp, CASA Janet made it her personal mission to ensure she didn't miss it.
