According to folklore, he was once a knight who committed a terrible crime and was cursed as punishment. His body turned to iron, and he was condemned to stand silently in the wall for eternity. But there is one chilling detail. Legend says that once every hundred years, the Iron Man comes alive and is allowed to walk the streets of Prague.
