#TigerWoods will lose his driver’s license for five years after reaching a plea deal that allows him to avoid jail time following his March crash in Florida‼️
Woods entered a no-contest plea and was found guilty of reckless driving and careless driving, with two five-year license suspensions set to run concurrently.
The more serious DUI charge was dropped after prosecutors said there was insufficient evidence to prove he was impaired by hydrocodone at the time of the crash.
He was also ordered to pay roughly $1,500 in fines.
The judge made it clear that Woods cannot drive at all during the suspension, warning that any violation would send him “immediately back to jail.”
Woods originally told authorities he had been looking down at his phone and didn’t realize the vehicle ahead of him had slowed before his Land Rover rolled over. No one was injured in the crash.
