I miss Russ and OBJ’s prime 🥹 Russ and OBJ never got the credit they deserved for changing the game off the field/court. Westbrook was pulling up to tunnels looking like a walking fashion show before “tunnel fits” was even a thing everybody talked about. And OBJ? Between the hair, the celebrations, the one-handed catch heard around the world, dude was just built different from day one. They caught so much flak for it too, people calling them “too much” or “not serious enough.” Now look around the league… everybody’s dressing like Russ, every rookie’s got a signature celebration like OBJ used to pull. What got clowned back then is just standard now. They weren’t copying the culture, they were the culture. Wild how that works out.
