The cost of WNBA fandom is rising — especially for the league's top-ranked Minnesota Lynx.
According to The Minnesota Star Tribune, invoices from 15 season-ticket holders showed 2027 price increases ranging from 15.3% to 47.3%, with an average increase of 28.7%.
The Lynx point to record business growth, including a 33% increase in ticket revenue and 15% growth in average attendance, while premium seating has sold out and generated waitlists.
While some longtime fans say the higher costs could affect how often they attend games, none of the 20 season-ticket holders interviewed by the Star-Tribune said they plan to cancel their memberships.
