I hear this behind the chair almost every single week. When you tell me your bob feels off, here is what is usually happening: Maybe you flip your part three times a day, and every time you switch sides, the length suddenly looks an inch longer on the left. Maybe you want to flip your hair back and forth without one side dropping heavier than the other. Maybe you want a clean, modern bob without that stiff, boxy ledge sitting around your neck. Those all come down to how the hair gets sectioned before the scissors even touch it. This is why I use what I call the veil technique. It is my secret weapon behind the chair that never lets me down. Instead of cutting the whole perimeter at once, I isolate the top section, the veil, completely out of the way.
