meeting them didn’t go as expected because it went better than expected, deep down i never thought they would accept me but that was just me projecting my experience of prejudice in my own country onto them. believing that projection led me to never pursue and never speak about ever meeting them or even knowing them, until one day i just decided to just give it a try for better or worse, im glad i did because now i have even more family, a new place to call home 6000 miles away from home. . #blasian #mixed #longlostfamily #china #mixedfamily
