“We thought we had to leave the country to save our daughter’s life.” When Mr. Afolabi Kamoru and Mrs. Afolabi Alimot learned that their one-year-old daughter, Khadija Kamoru, had been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, they believed travelling abroad was their only option for the complex heart surgery she needed. Then they discovered that the procedure could be performed right here in Nigeria.
