Scott McLaughlin will start at the front of the 2025 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg after setting the fastest time of 59.4624 seconds in qualifying. McLaughlin, from Team Penske, beat Colton Herta and Felix Rosenqvist, who will start second and third. Meyer Shank Racing’s Marcus Armstrong had his best qualifying result in fourth. “It feels great to be on pole, but now we have to finish the job [today],” McLaughlin said.
