I love my city. Columbus, Phenix City, Smith Station, that’s home. But here’s the truth: sometimes your own people ain’t ready to see you win. They know you, they grew up with you, but they don’t always understand the work it takes to dream big. So you gotta step outside. Go build something remarkable somewhere else, learn the game, then bring it back. That’s how you elevate. You take what you learned from the world and pour it back into your hometown. But you can’t do it alone. We gotta shop local, spend local, collaborate local. The Tri-City gotta work together. Old heads, step aside and let the new generation lead but mentor them in a way with care that leads to new innovation. Let’s build something that lasts for generations when building the city back up. Home team forever, but growth don’t stop at the city limits. Go get inspired, come back, and inspire somebody else. That’s how we win.
