Is #postpartum issues real? YES. Diving into one of my patient's experiences, symptoms, evaluation and brain SPECT scan results. As a reminder, a SPECT scan is ONE piece of the puzzle - we also do a comprehensive evaluation that includes neurotesting that looks at recall/focus/cognition, a detailed medical history apt that goes over your entire patient history, scan, and evaluation/follow up care. Getting to know a patient in that extensive amount of time is crucial and not just a 15-minute med check telehealth visit where a medication is prescribed off of just symptoms.
