Andrew Scott Bell is an accomplished film and television composer whose music has brought stories to life on screens around the world. After studying classical orchestration, music theory, and composition at Christopher Newport University, he pursued a career in film scoring that has led to nearly 100 film and television projects since 2009. Now based in Los Angeles, Andrew earned early recognition when his score for the short film Rocket received a Student Academy Award. Since then, he has composed music for productions including NBC’s Home Sweet Home from Oscar-nominated and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay, Lionsgate’s Powder Pup, Lifetime’s Psycho Storm Chaser, the internationally recognized Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey films, and the upcoming Pinocchio: Unstrung.
