Murphrey has dedicated his career to public service, legal leadership, and strengthening the communities he serves. A graduate of Christopher Newport University, he earned a Master of Public Administration from Old Dominion University and a Juris Doctor from Regent University before beginning a distinguished career in municipal law. Today, Patrick serves as Senior Assistant City Attorney for the City of Newport News, where he provides legal counsel on matters that support effective local government and public service. His commitment to leadership extends well beyond his profession through active involvement with organizations that improve the quality of life across the Virginia Peninsula.
