@KTLA last week sharing some of my favorite budget-friendly back-to-school UPCYCLING ideas! 🙌 Because let’s be real—back-to-school shopping can get EXPENSIVE, especially when the kids suddenly want everything new. 😂
But sometimes you don’t need NEW… you just need to make the OLD feel new again! ♻️💕 Here are 5 easy ideas:
👟 1. TIE-DYE IT!
White shoes, shirts, socks… if you can’t get those stains out, don’t toss them—TIE-DYE them! We love ice tie-dye because it’s also such a fun activity to do with the kids.
👖 2. UPCYCLE OLD JEANS
Grab jeans you already own or hit the thrift store! I recently found two pairs for $10 and updated them with fabric splatter paint and fun fabric patches. Both projects were under $15 and turned out SO cute!
