Diagnosed with sporadic ALS after noticing weakness in his right hand, CJ2K now uses a speech-generating device that mimics his own voice, and the disease has progressed rapidly in a short amount of time. The man who once looked unstoppable on a football field is now fighting a battle nobody can outrun, and he’s chosen to do it publicly to raise awareness and give others hope.
