Longmont has a serious pizza problem. 🍕 Specifically, there is an unreasonable, borderline offensive concentration of outrageously good pizzerias crammed into a city of barely 100,000 people. Sure, Denver can brag about cart_driver and bluepanpizza. Boulder flexes audreyjanespizza, and Lakewood throws pizzerialeopold around like it’s a giant, spinning wheel of cartoon pizza dough. But in Longmont, three heavyweights — rosaleespizzeria, urbanfieldpizza and antoniosrealnewyork — sit casually within a few blocks of each other. A few blocks! And while Longmont is always a sacred destination for crust purists, on Saturday, Sept. 5, it will become something else entirely.
