Country megastar Garth Brooks may be stopping by the Grizzly Rose in Denver on Thursday night, fans of the multi-platinum-selling artist say. And they’re making a strong case.
Social media and Reddit threads have connected dots, they say, that prove Brooks is playing a secret 7:30 p.m. show at the country music venue north of Denver, where Brooks last performed in 1991. First, the band scheduled to play — Yukon Jack — is an alias Brooks used during a 1993 surprise concert in New Mexico.
Second, Brooks — who just happens to be from Yukon, Oklahoma — is already scheduled to be in town this weekend for four shows at Ball Arena, Friday, Sept. 4-Sunday, Sept. 6, and has reportedly said he would love to play the Grizzly Rose again.
