September is National Suicide Prevention Month.
This month, we pause to remind our sisters, families, and communities that you are not alone, and support is available.
Our Director of Health, Safety, and Wellness, Christine Vega-Perez, shares an encouraging message reminding us of the importance of reaching out, checking in on one another, and knowing where to turn when support is needed.
If you or someone you know is struggling or in need of immediate support, call or text 988 to connect with the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
There are also many resources available to help. One resource Christine recommends is the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), where you can find information, support, and tools for yourself or someone you care about.

Sometimes, a conversation can be the first step toward hope. Check in. Listen. Reach out. Be there. 💙
