Using lovable.dev, 8 year old Viyoohan Sayooraan created a free wildlife reporting app called Urban Wild Watch to help communities in Canada stay informed about nearby bears, coyotes and other animals. Viyoohan used Claude AI to organize his ideas and Lovable to build the web app through plain English instructions. Users can report sightings of coyotes, bears, foxes, deer, injured wildlife and orphaned animals, while also accessing information about wildlife behavior and safety. The app intentionally avoids showing an animal’s exact location. Viyoohan said he wanted people to know when wildlife was nearby without encouraging crowds to approach animals for photos, which could create unsafe situations for both residents and wildlife.
