Ad astra ⭐ On Aug. 30 at 7:26 a.m. EDT (1126 UTC), the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope took to the skies en route to its orbit 1 million miles away from Earth. Roman will reach its final destination in one month, where it will offer a new perspective of the cosmos. With its wide field of view and sophisticated tools, this telescope will help us study some of the universe’s greatest mysteries, such as the nature of dark matter and dark energy.
