HEAR ME OUT⬇️ seriously read this👀⬇️ I had to hook you in by claiming “catching is easy” lol catching in fact is not easy at all. It’s one of the most complex positions on the field, and becoming a great catcher takes a ridiculous amount of work. The point I was trying to get across in this video is that catching is hard, but learning how to catch shouldn’t feel confusing. We can all agree that throwing blocking and receiving are the main fundamental skills, but inside each one are a bunch of smaller skills and movement patterns that you have to develop The problem is that a lot of catchers try to attack everything all at once. They’re thinking about 15 different mechanical cues all at the same time. Then their brain gets overloaded instead of playing freely. Instead, we need to break each skill down in a way that the individual catcher actually understands.
