Coming soon to #SothebysParis in partnership with François de Ricqlès Conseil, their exceptional collection reveals the breadth of the couple’s interests from fine art and decorative arts to jewelry and beyond. ‘L’Ambition du Goût: Collections Michel Périnet et Françoise Cailles’ features over 200 works across 20th-century art, Art Deco, and jewelry, that have been unseen for decades. Highlights include several masterpieces by Francis Picabia, such as a magnificent watercolor with a perforated metal frame by Pierre Legrain, purchased from the artist by Jacques Doucet, and ‘Femme à l’ombrelle,’ once owned by André Breton.
