Unpopular opinion: Not everything called “community” is actually community. 👀 Bullying in networking spaces doesn’t always look obvious. Sometimes it looks like exclusion. Intimidation. Manipulation. Gatekeeping. Using connections, influence, or status to make someone else feel small. And mi gente… that is NOT empowerment. Especially in spaces created around women supporting women, we have to be willing to ask ourselves: Are we actually building community—or are we creating another hierarchy where certain people get to decide who belongs? Because there is room for ALL of us. ❤️ You can be a strong woman without trying to overpower another woman. You can say, “No estoy de acuerdo contigo,” and still remain professional. You can have boundaries without being disrespectful. You can have incredible connections without constantly reminding everyone who you know.
